What educators are saying

Fantastic resource. The prompts are real world, applicable situations that would require an email, and my students get to work on their job skills and email skills at the same time.
Engaging scenarios that apply to my students who are learning about how to work or already have jobs. Very useful time saver, thanks.

Description

Teach high school students how to draft emails (regarding work scenarios) with appropriate phrasing, subject, and overall professionalism! This set of email prompts relate specifically to real world life scenarios that young adults may face as they navigate the vocational world. In a world where texting is more common, it's important for teens to know how to display professionalism when they typing to an employer, boss, coworker, or anyone else via email!

This set of TASK CARDS is a great activity for special education students with disabilities (autism, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, etc.).

Students must read the scenario on each card, and then decide how to write their email. They can either write out their email on paper or (ideally) type the email from their phone, computer or tablet. (Tip -> have them send you the mock email so you can keep track of their progress over time!)
