Description
Teach high school students how to draft emails with appropriate phrasing, subject, and overall professionalism! This bundle of email prompts relate specifically to real world life scenarios that young adults may face as they navigate high school, the real world (life skills) and the vocational world. In a time where texting is more common, it's important for teens to know how to display professionalism when typing to a guidance counselor, teacher or anyone else via email!
This bundle of TASK CARDS is a great activity for special education students with disabilities (autism, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, etc.).
Students must read the scenario on each card, and then decide how to write their email. They can either write out their email on paper or (ideally) type the email from their phone, computer or tablet. (Tip -> have them send you the mock email so you can keep track of their progress over time!)
