Description

Economics: Word Search

It's a fun economics word search!! If your students are like mine, they love these. I use them to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.

In this economics themed puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions. Keep this in mind when considering it for third grade and below.

Also, they can be used as a literacy center if your students write about some of the words listed on the word search. They could also use ten words in a sentence to give you an idea of what they know about sentence structure as the year begins, or have the kids look up the words in the dictionary or social studies book.

The words included are: capital, demand, goods, natural, producer, salary, specialize, consumer, econommics, human, needs, production, scarcity, supply, cost, entrepreneur, interest, opportunity cost, profit, services, wants
