    Description

This bundle of informational reading passages was created for online learning. Each passage requires students to use the text to PROVE their answers. The goal is for students to move beyond a literal understanding and to a deeper and more critical evaluation of the text. The first three sets are perfect for first and second graders. The last set is geared for second and third. There have been years that I have used the grade 2-3 set with my advanced first graders.

I created these passages in Google Forms to be used in my own Google Classroom. The passages also work with Google Drive. Students read the passage, type the answers, then hit submit. You will view each response in your drive. You can also run a spreadsheet.
