Cultural Virtual Libraries Bundle

If you value Culturally Responsive Teaching then here is the bundle of virtual libraries that follow this pedagogy.  All read-alouds have been placed into safe sharing via the Viewpure application.  The libraries included are: 

September: National Hispanic-Latino Heritage 

November:  Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month

February:  Black History and Culture  (You will receive one for lower elementary and one for upper elementary)

March:  National Women’s History Month

April:  Arab American Heritage Month

May:  Asian Pacific and Jewish American Month

Diwali Virtual Library

These virtual libraries are not grade specific because all ages will enjoy these wonderful stories.  I have included a link to a writing extension "My Book Review" which can be printed on standard 8.5 X 11 paper.  There are three different versions of the printable worksheet.  Use the version most appropriate for the grade level(s) you teach.  You will find access to the writing extensions on the overview slide.  Though a month may honor a specific culture, it is my hope that you will find these resources useful year round.  Please view each individual title for specifics.
