Collecting Like Terms (Collecting Like Worms) Power Point by Mark Robuck

This is a Power Point presentation made by Mark Robuck. There are 23 slides in the presentation. It covers the introduction of collecting like terms. I use the grouping of pictures of "like worms" to explain the concept of collecting the same variables together. Several common problems and methods are mentioned such as a variable and its square being different terms, xy and yx being the same, and using modeling (algebra tiles). Although I use small curves as a representation of worms rather than actual algebra tiles. This method it not covered in detail, but modeling using pictures is used throughout.
