Description
When approaching Character Analysis, it's always nice to give students a new approach to studying character traits and motives.
When teaching Capote's In Cold Blood and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, I opt to have the students create criminal profiles for Perry Smith and Dick Hickock and choose between Frankenstein's monster or Victor Frankenstein.
The profile still requires students to interpret details and analyze actions, yet introduces them to technical writing. The students really seem to enjoy this assignment.
The profile template was created based on research and careful study. Such a template was not readily available online.
