Description

This purchase is perfect for those learners needing practice reading and spelling CVC words.

I use this in my classroom in the following ways:

-Matching: Matching magnetic letters on top of corresponding letters.

-Writing: Cards are not cut, but remain in full page form. Place each page in a wipe-off pocket, and students can practice writing/spelling the words with dry erase marker.

-Laminated tracing: Laminate the cards and students can trace the words with dry erase marker.

-Play doh mats: Students roll out play doh in the shape of each letter. Play doh is placed on top of each letter, as it is shaped.

-Centers: Students read cards to each other in a LA center.

You will receive 156 mats each with a unique CVC word in bold font and color picture. Students can learn to read and write these words through deliberate repeated practice.
