Interactive and differentiated! Students get to slide eggs into baskets that match the factors or the greatest common factor.
Factoring is a skill that students need to practice constantly because it is so important in Algebra and beyond. The first activity starts with factoring, and then the second activity has students find greatest common factors of two and three numbers.
Differentiated Options: With this activity, you get three options to choose from depending on the needs of your students. One option has students do all the work without guidance. A second option gives students the total sum of the eggs (factors) that will go in a basket. A third option gives students the number of eggs (factors) that go in each basket, as well as the sum of the eggs (factors) in each basket.
Organization: In each activity, there are three slides.
