Book Tasting BUNDLE

Your students will LOVE these book tasting activities, and so will you since all of the materials are done for you! Included in this bundle is a Starbucks-themed book tasting product and a dessert-themed book tasting product. A book tasting event is perfect for preparing for book clubs, literature circles, or to preview books that are new to your classroom library or that you just want to expose your students to! This bundle has two different themes so that your students continue to be engaged and excited about this activity when they participate in it throughout the school year.

In these product, you will receive book tasting menus for students to complete during the book tasting events. The book tasting menus works students through several prompts that they will answer for each book they preview. There are sections for five books. Also included are book tasting decorations that match the theme, a Google Slides presentation with introductory directions for the activity, invitations for the event, genre posters for tables, and a link to café music! Printing directions and suggestions for these resources are included for no confusion.

To hold this book tasting event, set up your classroom desks in groups if you do not have tables. Decorate your classroom using the materials included in this resource (and more if you choose). Place the books you want your students to preview at each table, and go over the directions for this activity with your students. Explain to your class that they should preview all books at their table (or various tables throughout the classroom) and complete the tasting menu accordingly.
