Description

Book Talk: An innovative home reading program to promote the love of reading and to provide an authentic opportunity to practice oral presentation skills all year long.

A home reading program is important for students at all grade levels. Often teachers send home a Home Reading Log and we ask ourselves, Are the students really reading? A Book Talk is an efficient and effective way to promote the love of reading while still holding students accountable for their learning.

Includes 5 pages of A How-To for Teachers, Classroom Implementation Ideas and Tips, Home Reading Log, Student Information Sheet/Letter to Parents and a Presentation Rubric.

Check out my store, The Educationist, often as I am adding new items all the time. Happy Teaching!
