The fourth in a series of Latin stories I have written for my beginning Latin students. In this story, Jupiter rescues his siblings from Saturn's belly.

This resource is two google drive files:

I. A google docs packet which includes:

  • Title page with an image relating to the story
  • Vocabulary page
  • The story
  • Comprehension questions for the story

II. An illustrated powerpoint of the story with bonus slides at the end that illustrate each of the Olympian gods' realms.

Notes for the teacher:

  • This story uses the vocabulary from the previous stories, while introducing select story-telling words (sed, nōn iam, and nunc).
