Assessment for Phonics with digital tracker

• Letter naming (both upper and lower case)
• Letter formation with color coded letters to show you how to introduce letters that are formed with the same beginning movement.

• A full scope and sequence of phonemes-grapheme correspondence.
• Progression of Phonics Skills:- A way to track what phonemic awareness and phonics skills you are teaching, from simple to complex.

Tracking of the below skills included: -

• Words in a sentence
• Rhyme awareness and production
• Initial, final and medial sound isolation
• Syllable awareness
• Segmenting, blending and manipulating compound words.
• Segmenting, blending and manipulating 2 syllable words.
• Counting phonemes in CVC and CCVC/CVCC words
• Segmenting, blending and manipulating CVC words
• Segmenting, blending and manipulating CCVC & CVCC words
• 6 syllable types and division of syllable rules
• Base words and affixes
• Rules around adding suffixes
• Teaching homophones and contractions

There is a suggested order of introducing consonant sounds for you to follow and instructions and notes alongside the phonics progression of skills.

Also included is a digital version of the forms with a GOOGLE SLIDES link. I have already gone through and put the text boxes onto those forms for you so it will be easy for you to use in a digital format.
