Adjectives and Adverbs Interactive Worksheets | Language Extravaganza

First Grade

L.1.1.f – Use frequently occurring adjectives.

Second Grade

Students will complete any of the following activities:

1. Color it – Students color words based on the adjective.

2. Find it – Students go on a word hunt (using classroom books) to find adjectives or adverbs. Students write the words in the frames.

3. Read it, Circle it – Students read a poem and circle various adjectives or adverbs.

4. Roll it, Write it, Draw it – Students roll an adjective or adverb and complete various activities.

5. Sort it – Students cut and sort various adjectives and adverbs.

6. Spin it – Students spin an adjective or adverb and use the word in a sentence.
