Looking for a way to support your student's academic discourse? The Accountable Talk Posters for Academic Language Sentence Stems! This handy set gives students everything they need to participate in deep partner and class discussions through academic discourse with sentence stems.

The Accountable Talk Classroom Posters are perfect for ALL students, including English Language Learners, with the use of academic language sentence stems. With clear and concise visuals, these posters provide an excellent foundation for academic discourse. The Desk Set is a great way to keep discussions organized and on track. Each student will be accountable for their talk with the desktop version made for small group discussions.

The Accountable Talk Posters Possible Uses:

  • Hang them on the wall so students can have a clear view and use them to support their communication when speaking to the class
  • desktop version for small groups or with a partner.
  • Print the small desk-top size to place in the center of the group tables.
  • Pace the desk-top size in a group basket or glue the poster to a stick and place it in the center of a faux plant, as I did in the photo.
  • The clear and bold print can easily be seen from across the room.
