Description

I have broken the seven APUSH historical periods into 11 units with manageable learning objectives reflective of the APUSH key concepts. This guide will also give you an idea of how many instructional days to spend on each unit based on the exam breakdown. For example, Period 7 units receive 17% of instructional time because it makes up 17% of the APUSH exam. We will spend far less time studying Period 9 because it only makes up 5% of the exam.

Important topics/terms are also included. I will be adding my Unit Learning Guides soon so check back often!

Pacing schedule is based off of a high school A/B schedule (90 minute class periods every other day) with four grading periods (identified on the left of the spreadsheet). It also incorporates about three weeks worth of in-class review before the AP exam on May 5, 2017.
