What educators are saying

My ALP students were very engaged and eager to present their ALP project based on their learning in science and /or ELA.

Description

The Meticulous English Teacher presents:

My favorite project to do before the AP literature test. I don't know about you, but my seniors are not motivated at this point in the year. This project motivates them to study while having some fun in the process. We usually design and build the games the week before the test and then play them as a review the day before the big day. It is a lot of fun, and really does allow for some great last-minute text analysis.

Why is this product different from another board game activity?
* Detailed instructions page to introduce the project to your students
* Tips for students to create great analytical game questions and a list of ideas that will help them create questions beyond the superficial.
* A descriptive rubric for assessing the games (I like to let the other groups evaluate while they play on review day)
* A worksheet to pass out to groups so they can get started planning the day you introduce the game

This assignment is so much fun, so I hope you enjoy it. I keep games every time we do this assignment because the students come up with AMAZING products every time!
