Story of a Watershed
About 7 1/2 minutes long, this film, which was underway well before the hurricane season, could be a good start for fall 2017 geography or science classes aware of recent news events.
It gives an overview of most conditions that occur in a wide variety of watersheds, covering how storm water behaves and nourishes the land as it is funneled towards its final destination, showing problems caused by runoff and opportunities along the way. The Farm at Night
This video grew out of real sightings on a nearby farm at various times of almost every animal shown in a series of imaginary "scenes" in a style using animations or footage over photo backgrounds. The sequence leaves out daytime animals we are also familiar with which don't appear (groundhogs, squirrels, turtles and snakes, deer, rabbits, hawks etc).
