This unit is a blend of technology, painting and Art History. The students will research a Master's painters portrait, pose as the subject, take a digital photo and paint on top of that photocopy. This unit is a 4.5 day lesson. The 1/2 day lesson is meant for grading a rubric. I've included some student examples for you to view. I use this with my 6th graders, but it could be altered for many age groups and abilities.
