Frog and Toad Reader's Theatre *EDITABLE
This Reader's Theatre is adapted from Arnold Nobel's
"Frog and Toad All Year" chapter titled "The Corner." I used this as a supplemental activity for the week we read the story from the Harcourt Trophies series, but could be used independently.
I created this for 5 students: Frog, Toad, and 3 narrators. It is an editable file so you can change, separate, or combine parts as needed.

Firefighters Sequencing
This Firefighter Sequencing activity includes 3 differentiated lessons with a short story about fire fighters as well as sentence strips to sequence and label. The "A" worksheet is the lowest, with an easy to read narrative and only sequencing 4 events. The "B" version is slightly more difficult, with a few changes made to the narrative and only 4 events to sequence. Frog and Toad All Year Book Report Booklet
This is booklet that contains a page for each chapter of the book. Each page consists of, character, setting, problem and solution comprehension questions. It also consists of an area for students to connect with the chapter by drawing an illustration and responding to a question from the chapter.

They can be assigned to research a topic and write an article. There are so many fun ways to create a classroom newspaper! The Four Seasons: A Dance & Literacy Unit
The four seasons is an age appropriate concept that will allow students who have already begun their dance training and have begun to be introduced to the LMA (Laban Movement Analysis) vocabulary to continue their exploration in the dance world. It is also a simple entryway for those without any training. It provides a simple premise that can allow various classes and ages to explore the meaning of each season and what it means to them in ways that allow them to connect and feel each season.

Eat Your Veggies, Teddy
This three week book unit encourages children to eat more vegetables, and thus it relates to nutrition education. It involves language arts skills with rhythm and rhyme, vocabulary, and pattern. Math concepts of number and counting are included. The characters are teddy bears for fun. I took photographs to connect to real experience, and the book could be illustrated by children as well. The lesson plans at the end are listed with Sunshine State Standards, but it can be correlated to benchmarks
