I use this project at the beginning of the year with my students for them to be the teacher and review the part of speech they are assigned. This works as a great icebreaker project for the beginning of the year as well. I always model Interjections to give them an idea of what their project should look like, plus it is the easiest!

Ecological Footprint Lesson
This lesson includes access to a Prezi presentation explaining ecological footprints. Students are then instructed to navigate to an online Ecological Footprint Calculator where they will determine their own footprint size. They must then create a visual representation that includes ways to reduce their ecological footprint. A rubric for grading their visuals is also included.
