I use this as a cumulative/creative way for my student to show what they have taken away from class and can apply. They can use a current event or a topic covered in class and are allowed creative freedom. They can choose any song from history to put their lyrics to and get creative. When it’s time to grade, they can either audio/video record themselves or preform live in class. For our more shy kids I allow them to edit or just help in writing the lyrics. This allows each student to shine.
