A Knight's Tale - RAFT Writing Assignment

Ancient Roman Culture
In teaching Ancient Rome, my students studied areas of Roman culture including Roman standards. Standards were often carried into battle and represented the spirit and soul of the military unit that carried them into battle. To promote connections to Ancient Rome as well as positive school culture, I have my students create their own standard specific to our school values so that we can showcase the spirit and soul of our school.
