1.OA.2 Addition Word Problems with 3 Numbers Performance Assessment
This is a performance assessment for Common Core Standard 1.OA.2. Students are given story problems and number sentences with 3 addends to solve. They are asked to explain how they solved the word problem and to write their own story problem from number sentences given. I was pleased with how well my students responded to this assessment! A scoring rubric and data recording sheet are included as well!

This packet combines worksheets with scales that will have the students working out word problems that combine 3 numbers.
The students will then score themselves using the scales to make sure they have reached their goal of a 3 or surpassed it with a higher score. Some children may not reach mastery but if they use the scale they will be able to see what their next steps are to get closer to their goal.
