Curriculum Map Template {Middle & High School Humanities}
Having clearly mapped out units for the school year is critical in my practice, but I never quite found the right map to match my style and personality as a teacher. This curriculum map was designed by me, at the time, a 10-year veteran teacher, who decided to quit her comfortable job and take a new job closer to home. I created this map to help me navigate two brand new courses (English 1 and English 3) with the language, goals, and through processes that I felt comfortable with.

First Day of School Procedure Powerpoint
Feel free to download this powerpoint for free and modify it to fit your needs! I use this at the beginning of every year and show it to the students every single morning for 3 weeks, since that is the average amount of time it takes to form a habit. Eventually your students will say "Not this AGAIN!" They won't like it, but they will definitely remember your procedures. It is very important that they know them, because procedure problems are half of classroom management problems.
