This Assembly is for Junior School children to show them the value to teachers. Included is a poem that can be performed by students. A talk on teachers, and what they add to the lives of their students. A certificate of appreciation that can be handed out to the teachers in the assembly by the students. A prayer to end off with. Teaching in a modern classroom setting should be focused on the concepts of developing and enhancing students in their abilities to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop higher levels of confidence and pride for themselves. Although I use this at the start of the school year, this is a fantastic lesson to get to know thyself in a very fast-paced ever-changing society, and for students to develop a rapport with both one another, and teachers with students alike.
