Distributive Property NOTES easy, quick, already done for you note sheet! I make my kids dance with 'everybody at the party'. I even have them make a problem at the front with kids pretending to be the parenthesis and terms then one goes in and dances with everybody at the party. I usually make the second number someone you want to make sure you dance with like Bill Gates grandkid or whoever is popular at the time.

Area of Circles and Sectors Notes
These are notes that I gave the students to help follow along during the Area of Circles and Sectors portion of the Circle unit. We first went over area of the entire circle and then I drew a diameter in the circle. I had students tell me why this was equal to 180 degrees and how I could find the area of the top half of the circle. I then used the information that they gave me to introduce the formula for finding the area of a sector of a circle.
