This is a PowerPoint presentation that I made to sort of outline the basics of the five periods of music history that I decided to focus on in my classroom:
1. Gregorian Chant
2. Renaissance
3. Baroque

Rhythm Grid Building w/Digital Audio Workstation Concepts - Interactive Notebook

Body Percussion Composition Worksheet
A fun musical activity to use the basics of rhythm notation (inspired by Kodaly) and enable students to create their own body percussion compositions. This is the first worksheet, which assumes that students have learnt the basics of rhythmic notation, and creating a four beat bar.
