Fossils!
Fossils! is a seven day lesson plan that allows students to explore different types of fossils and learn about how they are formed through hands on lessons. Students start off with an internet scavenger hunt to activate prior knowledge and gain basic facts. Students then work through four hands on lessons that help them understand how a fossil is formed and the differences between the main types of fossils. Scavenger hunt work sheet and final assessment are included in the lesson plan.
