These visuals can be manipulated to show both standard and expanded form of a number.  Students organize the cards horizontally or vertically to represent numbers in expanded notation.   They overlap cards and line up the arrows to form multi-digit numbers.  Notice the cards are color-coded to reinforce the concept of digit placement in a number.
