Plural Nouns Flipchart Lesson
The first slide contains singular nouns and the second slide contains plural nouns. Teacher will ask students to make observations about both slides (before introducing the words singular and plural nouns) and help students understand the meaning of both set of words. Then anchor chart is shown that explains the rules. Vocabulary Taboo
This is a game I play with my reading students to help them practice their vocabulary words. If you've never played Taboo before, you have to try to get your team to guess the word (vocabulary word) by giving them clues but without saying the word itself. You can make the game more challenging by only letting students give antonyms instead of synonyms or you could come up with a list of words that you want them not to say to make the game more challenging. Daily 5 Choice Chart for ActivBoard
Here is an ActiveInspire flipchart for your student's daily 5 choices. Students place their class number inside the box to show what they will be working on. I leave mine up on the board so I can always use it as a reference to see what everyone is doing. It also has colorful "reminders" for them at the bottom to help them stay on task.
You can also edit this to fit your needs, whether it be more/less people per activity or if you do Daily 3 instead. This is very easy to edit!
