Random Acts of Kindness | Staff Wellbeing:One act of kindness can change someone’s entire day! Use this resource to spread kindness and happiness within your school and to the wider community! It’s a great way to make someone’s day. Print the current month’s poster (there's one for each month) and give a copy to each member of staff. Printing on bright paper is recommended.Display your poster somewhere where you will notice it. Have a go at completing the 4 random acts of kindness for the month.

Finding the Missing Dimensions: L-Shaped Polygons - FREE
Students often struggle computing the correct values of Perimeter and Area L-Shaped Polygons since all the sides are NOT given. The student must translate distances and compute the missing side.
This process is easy to do with a little practice. The teacher can divide the L-Shape into two rectangles and transfer the dimensions, and students quickly realize that it is either an addition or subtraction problem to ensure the dimensions are compatible.

STAAR Approved Math Supplemental Aid
