Habitats Research Organizer
This is a 6 page organizer for students to use as they research a habitat of their choice. It is great for younger grades (1st-3rd). I created it as a smartboard to use as a model and then printed the pages directly from there. This project can be topped off with students creating a biome at home to then bring in and share with the class. Students loved it and did a great job with it!

Bird Lesson-SPRING
Look into the different types of birds. Have your students observe them and learn about them with a visual slideshow. The slideshow gives facts about the birds and at the end there is a quiz. Post lesson, take students for a walk or look out the window to note the birds they see. You could even create a bird feeder! Students can create a graph to see which birds they saw the most or the least.

Bear Venn Diagram
This is a great addition to your bear unit. In this Smartboard activity, students will compare and contrast three different types of bears by using a Venn Diagram. Students can compare the polar, panda, and brown bears. This Venn Diagram is set up to compare/contrast two bears at a time. There will be three facts not used each time.
