6-Page Interactive Notebook Walk Through:
-How the Introduction/Warm Up slide is to be built and utilized most effectively. This slide walks you through the creation of, purpose for, and classroom management behind creating a great introduction.
-The Notes portion gives how to's on building effective notes, how they are to be used within an Interactive Notebook, bringing technology into the classroom while increasing time on task, and how these can be utilized for any class length (30 minutes to 120 minutes).
-In Class Activities and Check Point Quizzes: Explains how students build their own base of knowledge, based upon the lessons content. Projects, activities, and group work are discussed, the importance of differentiation and scaffolding are explained you will learn how to use these within your lessons. Content Spiraling is an important aspect of any lesson. Checking student comprehension on a lesson by lesson basis is discussed and you are walked through how to complete this on a daily basis.
-Integrating writing into the closure of every lesson. Checking student understanding. Explanations for effective class closures.
-Homework integrating technology. What does effective homework look like? How do we hold students accountable for projects and teach them time management and accountability?
