School Behavior Social Contract template

College Major Planning For Beginners Activity
In the College Major Planning Activity, students will use the Internet to research college degrees that they may be interested in studying in the future. This activity is a starting point for discussion on college interests and potential challenges students may face in college. We recommend pairing this activity with our My College Life Challenges activity.

Study Hall / Advisory Student Literacy Log
At one school I was an advisory teacher. This meet that students were suppose to spend 2 hrs a week reading. To help hold students accountable, I had the students fill out these logs. They also helped the 8th graders, who could count community service hours on these logs for graduation. You can expand these to include other homework assignments and classwork.
