Lung Capacity/Respiratory Lab
This lab activity explores the lung capacities of students and encourages them to hypothesize why lung capacity is different among their peers. All you need for this lab are some balloons, rulers, a calculator, and this handout! Students will measure tidal volume and expiratory volume, and investigate the relationships between these measurements. This is an engaging lab that can be completed in a health course, anatomy and physiology, or a life sciences course. Enjoy!

Circulatory System Skit
A few years ago, before retiring, my multi-age class and I decided we wanted to cover the topic of body systems in a bit of a different way.
At the time we were working on five different systems and decided that it would be more fun to do each system in a different way rather than all five by the traditional paper and pencil method. It didn't take any convincing on any of our parts.

Disease Sort Activity Diseases Caused by Microorganisms
