Sometimes kids are scared (anxious) and they do not know what to do. One strategy to teach kids to help calm a scared body is to perform box breathing. Breathing exercises are an excellent exercise for calming the body as it helps to regulate the system by increasing oxygen levels and to focus on understanding what the problem might be.
