As a Teacher of the Deaf with 11 years of teaching experience in both, classroom and itinerant field experience, I have had the opportunity to serve hundreds of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Students in grades K-12.

Indirect object pronoun worksheet / Realidades 2 4a
This worksheet helps practice the indirect object pronouns after an introductory lesson. In the first section, students produce the IO pronouns for each subject. In the second, they replace the IO with the appropriate pronouns in 10 sentences. God Bless America in Signs
American Sign Language (ASL) is a language all its own. It is conceptual and has its own syntax. However, when the interpreter signs a song as others sing, this syntax is often mixed with English syntax so that the order of words matches more closely with the words being sung audibly.
This product presents the song in sign illustrations as it would be signed while someone sang aloud. This is followed by a chart with explanations for the signs used to represent each word concept.

As a Dual Language teacher, I often find that resources in Spanish are limited. I went to a presentation where the speakers had written a song that accompanies a rounding game. This was a great song, however, it was written in English. I asked for permission to translate this song, so here it is! The students learn the process of rounding while having fun!

Ser Practice (with Enrique Iglesias song)
Students will listen to the song "Alguien soy yo" by Enrique Iglesias. As they listen, they will write in the missing lyrics. The lyrics are different forms of SER. What a great upbeat song for levels I and II Spanish! This song is clean (no drug, alcohol, sex, nada) full of regular ar, er and ir verbs and a few boot verbs (empezar), ir+a+infinitive, a bit of weather vocab (lluvia) and easy to understand. There's a bit of "pa' qué" type slang to get your students into what real native speaker Spanish sounds like and a great positive theme.
