This part contains info on the costs of Transportation, Debt, Housing, Dining Out, and more. Students can decide which items align with their goals. For example, if a student plans on living with their parents, their housing cost will be less. The next section is career exploration. I included several links to career tests if stud

This is a math project for upper elementary or middle school students. Students inherit a large sum of money and must spend it all in a short amount of time. This unit covers banking, discounts, and sales tax. I use this with my middle school special education math class and with certain accommodations, my students do very well with the assignment and like it a lot. This is a two week unit, perfect for the end of the year. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Free Enterprise and Marketing Ad Creation Week Lesson Plans

Many teenagers and especially students with disabilities are not provided with enough instruction on financial literacy. Understanding and applying economic theories on a personal level is important for any functioning member of society. The lessons this week will impart the value of money and how it flows through our economy by studying the relationship between human wants, human needs, resources, and corporate marketing. It coincides with a PowerPoint with the same name in my store.
