I created this dice game for students to practice exponents after our multiplication lesson on exponents. The strategy of the game is to choose the base and exponent that will give you the highest answers, because at the end the students will have to total up their answers in order to see who wins with the highest total. This helps with number sense, multiplication practice, and understanding exponential form.

I went ahead and typed up questions and printed them on color coded labels depending on the category (social skills, self-esteem, coping skills, anger, getting to know you etc.)

Middle School First Day of School Activity (Math)
I use this first day of school activity to get to know the students and get them started with mathmatical thinking on our first day together. The students complete the worksheet, adding up all the numbers at the end, then as a class we order the totals and assign special names to each student based on their order.
