This unit covers basic information about the early Middle Ages. Activities include research assignments and creative writing. Students present groups of Laisses as sportscasters calling a football game, a 60 Minutes newscast, a comic book, and a funeral eulogy. A student emcee provides pertinent details that tie the story together. This is a fun way to get students to think critically, be creative, and present their productions.
