Maria Montessori Three/Four Part Cards and BIO Bundle
This PDF includes Four Part Cards to teach students about Maria Montessori and the Montessori Method. Four part cards include a picture card, a word card, a control card (picture and word), and an information card. Cards included are: Maria Montessori, Casa dei Bambini, materials, practical life, observation, environment, respect, and multiage groups. The History of Writing-Montessori Cards
I created a set of cards to tell my students the story of the history of writing. I cut out and laminated the text cards and the matching picture cards. I lay out the picture card as I tell the story, and then place the matching text underneath. When completed, this creates a timeline of the history of writing.

Animal needs cloze for research of an animal
This is a one-page cloze designed to go with any unit on the needs of animals. It also works well as an alternate perspective approach to researching animals. Students choose an animal and complete a sentence for each of the basic needs of that animal, forming a complete page about the animal.
I created this work to go with my own unit on the needs of animals. My second grade students were very successful with it. It was also at the right level for advanced first grade students.
