The 6 Word Memoir Project
Are you looking for a fun getting to know you writing activity to start the year off right? This resource fits the bill! I use this during the first week in my sophomore English classes as a way to encourage creativity, comfort and confidence. I usually take the results and place them on a bulliten board that entertains my students throughout the year. I would often hear, "How have I never read that one?" all the way into May.
I have also included an IB friendly rubric at the bottom. Enjoy!
