Research Paper in an Alternate Media
This year we wrote our research papers in a different form. We made a "dossier." Using Microsoft Publisher or a similar software, we wrote the same paper but it looked different. This half sheet exercise challenges students to find the persuasive strategies used in a persuasive paragraph (FRIES: Facts, Reasons, Illustrations, Examples, and Statistics) and underline them in different colors.
