This three-page enrichment resource is called "Stranger than Fiction: A Brief History of the Berlin Wall." This Reader's Theater was written for a small group of 4 students. It was intended to give students a look into some of the history of the Marines. A Wonder-Filled Novel Study

Thank you R.J. Palacio for writing Wonder, one of the best adolescent books ever, because it’s jam-packed full of both academic and life lessons. In my humble, but experienced opinion, every middle school student should have the opportunity to read, own, digest, and gnaw on all the contents in this spectacular book. It is up to all the teachers and parents out there to help each child have the aforementioned experience with Wonder. As both a reading and English teacher for y

I have twenty questions here; I usually ask my students to respond to ten, but all twenty are great for discussion or socratic seminar. Questions focus on culture, irony, and the tragic figure. There is one question that asks the students to reflect on something from Oedipus Re

I encourage them to try to be creative with it and so I use the script to get them thinking. In the script, Samantha has been assigned a project for school’s 100th day of school. Her family is trying

Students first complete book clubs or literature circles (however you want to structure this part) and then complete projects related to immigration issues on a choice board. Though I made this for AIG learners, it can be adjusted and modified to fit all learners.
