Africa Griot Project
The Griots were the storytellers/historians for each of the kinship groups in Ancient West Africa. The main purpose of the Griots was to educate and entertain the villagers in each of these West African villages. Their stories were usually based upon life’s lessons and morals that each villager would take and learn from; much like the Ancient Greek Philosopher Aesop. American Revolution Videos For Class
In my class, my students were bored to tears by the slow and methodical reading of the textbooks. So I decided to do something about it and make the Revolution fun again! I kept in mind middle school students who are learning about the revolution, but also made it serious enough to appeal to High School and beyond as well.
