Logic puzzles involve thinking skills that are so valuable and applicable in so many content areas, but are rarely stated directly in content standards. I would use them 2-4 times a year because they can easily be modified to fit into any theme or holiday. Solving them are a valuable exercise for every student. Getting to Know You with Stock Market Terms
I use this at the beginning of the year for my students starting our stock market unit for 2 reasons: 1 is for them to move around the room and get to know each other and the 2nd is to introduce some vocabulary terms that we will be learning during our stock market unit.
Vocabulary includes: apparel, brand, company, competitor, logo
Students should get others to initial their sheet with colored pens/pencils and try not to use the same student for more than 2 things! It can be adjusted as need
