These are more difficult patterns using an abacus. If your student has not done set #1 I highly recommend you start with the easy ones. This set has skip counting by two, AABB, ABC, AABAA patterns as well as 2 patterns happening within the same problem. These are a lot of fun for my students once they understand how they work. It would be an excellent challenge for a student who is bored with the typical patterns practiced in the classroom.
