Many writing rubrics require the usage of "varied and sophisticated" transition words in paragraph writing. I got tired of reading "Then... then... and then..." or "Next... next... next...", so I created this anchor chart to help my students self-select more creative and specific transition words. This will remain clear (non-pixelated) up to a 3 ft X 4 ft poster, but prints well as a sheet or half-sheet reference guide as well.
