“The Bridge” is a great exercise for helping kids, teens, adults, couples or even groups with goal exploration. It provides a template for exploration (words or pictures) of past experiences and hopes for the future. It helps the participant identify what steps they need to take to get to the future they desire. Potential barriers to success can be addressed as well. This exercise is helpful because it provides a visual “big picture” for treatment planning, motivating change, and breaking down h
